Artist Bio/Statement: I was born in 1972.
I’m a chemical engineer.
I’m living in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam currently.

I started folding at the age of 5 or 6. I became a member of the Vietnam Origami Group in 2006 and created my first design in March 2008.

I really like the spirit in the models of Master Akira Yoshizawa and Bernie Peyton. The wet folding technique and symbolic models of Đinh Trường Giang are also my favourite.

I always try to make my models as few folds as possible because I like simplicity and symbolizism. Wet folding is also used frequently in my models to describe the softness and liveliness of the models.
